All fishing gear is included in your trip, from rods and reels to lures and tackle. If live bait is needed for the day, just ask the captain whether it’ll be caught fresh or prepared in advance.

Every trip includes a licensed First Mate, who will assist with gear, rigs, and anything else that helps you focus on fishing. Mates work hard and tips are customary, generally ranging from 10–20% based on your experience.

You won’t need to worry about buying a fishing license — it’s all taken care of by the charter. Just bring your favorite snacks and drinks (cans only please — no glass or hard liquor). It’s also a good idea to pack sunscreen (avoid spray), sunglasses, and plenty of water to stay hydrated.
