We have been coming to Kona for 14 years.Many different boats, but the silky is the best. Captain Dave and William. Put us on 2 blues and a striped marlin the best day on the water by far. The boat is setup so everyone has a comfortable space. The bridge has ample room for all unlike most boats

Great 4 hr fishing trip today with Captain David and Clayton. Caught a skipjack we used as live bait but a shark got to it. The girls then reeled in a hefty mahi-mahi that’s on the grill as we speak! caught and released a 100lb marline, then hooked another 250lber but lost it! Looking forward to another day out with Silky

Had an amazing time on the water with Dave and Cam. They had us hooked up on a huge Blue Marlin not even 10 minutes out of the harbor! Very professional duo and the boat was very comfortable. We’ll definitely look to fish with them again the next time we visit Kona

Hi. We just got back from Hawaii and stopped in Kona and did a half day charter with Silky Sportfishing. We had an excellent time. The captain and crew were great and had a lot of experience. We only had to go maybe 20 minutes out or so as it drops down to 6000 feet really quick. We caught a Blue Nose Spearfish and around a 150lb to 180lb Blue Marlin. We tagged and released the Blue Marlin as we were on a cruise ship going back. Great fishing experience, great photos, and great crew. Thank you. Jeff Wall

We did a six hour snorkel/fishing charter out of Kona during Spring Break. We looked for a family friendly boat since we were fishing with a 11 and 14 year old. Captain John and his mate Billy couldn't have been more professional and nicer to my children. We ended up hooking three tuna and a juvenile marlin (which was tagged and released). The snorkeling area we visited was beautiful and they supplied all the gear. I highly recommend fishing off the Silky with John and Billy whether you're a seasoned vet or out with your kids for a great day.

Cpt John worked very hard to get our 11 yr old grandson a big fish. Success. We also snorkeled at Cpt Cook memorial. Highly recommend combining a fishing charter and snorkeling. Helps save $$$ too. One charter not two. Outstanding equipment. The very best. 47’ boat was very comfortable for our non-fishing Wife (grandmother) who could watch the smiles. Cpt John and first mate we’re professional businessmen, retired to years of helping clients like us learn about the big Island and get the most out of a day on the water. Saw Dolphins and had a shark chase one of the tuna we caught. Thanks guys! 1
