I had the great fortune of taking two trips with Capt. Brian Moniz of Silverbeard Charters—one inshore and one offshore—and both were outstanding! During the inshore trip, we hit an inshore slam within the first 30 minutes and wrapped up the day with multiple trout catches in the final half hour. The offshore trip was where the real excitement kicked in! We hooked two ARS that would’ve been definite keepers if it were in season, along with Vermillion, ringtails, grunts, sea bass, and even sharks. It was an absolute blast, and I can’t wait to go again. This charter is the real deal—don’t miss out! And by the way, Brian’s a pretty great guy too!
