Captain Matt is a passionate angler who has years of fishing experience that is more than enough to provide you with the right adventure that will exceed your expectations. The crew will put you on the fish with a 30-foot Contender boat that will bring you to the fishing grounds and back in a timely fashion. This restored boat is Powered by 2 250HP Suzuki engines and can run at a maximum cruising speed of 44 knots. It features modern navigational electronics such as GPS and Fishfinder, for entertainment, it has a multimedia system, and onboard you can find a live bait well, outriggers, and a wireless trolling monitor. Captain Matt and his crew live and breathe fishing and their top priority is to provide you with a safe and reliable ride.
The choice of fish you can catch is excellent. There’s Mahi Mahi, Tuna, Wahoo, Grouper, Snapper, Blackfin Tuna, Mutton Snapper, Gag, and Scamp grouper, Red Snapper(seasonal), King Mackerel, Barracuda, African Pompano, Cobia, Amberjack, Shark, Triggerfish, and many more! To target them, you can bottom fish, deep sea fish, troll, jig, and other various fishing techniques that Captain Matt would gladly teach you during the trip.
You’ll be provided with all the rods, reels, tackle, live bait, and lures. Your fishing license and catch cleaning are also included. A first mate will even be with you onboard to help you with your needs. The only thing you’ll need to bring on your trip is the food and drinks of your choice, your sun protection, and wear proper attire.

We had a great time on our charter boat cruise! Captain Matt is awesome and extremely personable. He was accommodating to all our requests as well as went the extra mile to try to give us the best chance to catch fish and spot dolphins. We loved the laid-back atmosphere on the boat, it was very relaxing and we never felt rushed. I would book again in a heartbeat we had the best time! :)

Our experience with Matt at Simon Says Charters was THE BEST! My husband is an avid fisher and I myself get sick and never like to go out on the water. Matt knew this ahead of time and made sure to make sure I was comfortable he was very conscious of the weather we were going out in and was reassuring of me the entire time. I ended up having a great time and my husband and his friends had an absolute blast! Pricing is fair and the experience as a whole is so worth it. Definitely recommend hitting the water with Simon Says!

Matt and Noah were awesome! The weather kept us near shore and they still put us on fish. Caught a few bull red drums, lots of sea bass, and an awesome sheep head. We will definitely be looking to charter with them for some deep-sea fishing in the winter.
