He’s super communicative, keeping you updated by text and making sure you know exactly where to go. He’s constantly on the radio and phone, working hard to get us in the perfect spot for wildlife sightings. His passion for what he does is evident, and he goes above and beyond to show you as much as possible. We spotted countless whales, otters, and eagles, and when he heard about nearby Orcas, he didn’t hesitate—he sped right over to find them! He even extended our tour to follow them, sharing in the excitement with us. If you want to see amazing marine life with a guide who genuinely loves what he does, this is the tour for you!

Parker was the perfect guide for our adventure! Unlike the large tours offered by the cruise lines, he provided a personalized, private experience just for our group of five. The highlight of our trip came when he heard on the radio that orcas were nearby. Without hesitation, he took off full throttle to find them. We spent an hour following these magnificent creatures as they hunted for porpoises—an experience that felt like something straight out of National Geographic. Parker even extended our tour so we could continue watching the orcas. It’s clear that he has great rapport with his fellow captains in the area, sharing the locations of the whales we spotted with them. While some of our success was due to luck, Parker’s preparedness ensured we had the best possible experience. Booking with him guarantees a truly personalized outing. We felt incredibly fortunate to have found him. I can’t stress this enough: this didn’t feel like a tour at all; it felt like spending a day on the water with friends!

The entire trip was fantastic, starting with Parker greeting us at the top of the ramp—his enthusiasm is truly infectious! We kicked things off with an otter sighting as it playfully rolled in the kelp. Next, we embarked on a thrilling whale search, which was a success! On our journey, we also witnessed salmon leaping through the air, all while enjoying the breathtaking scenery surrounding us.

We absolutely loved our trip to Alaska, and a standout moment was our afternoon with Captain Parker on his boat. He guided us on a stunning boat ride to prime wildlife viewing spots, where we saw numerous whales, eagles, jumping salmon, sea lions, and playful otters. As a local, Parker has extensive knowledge of the area and was excellent at communicating with us throughout the trip. He conveniently picked us up in town and dropped us off right at our cruise ship. Having just the four of us along with him made for a truly personal experience. We highly recommend this adventure!
