Derek Stakelin
When you want to explore the wrecks, reefs, and other water channels surrounding Dunedin and Hudson, Florida, then Skinny D’s Fishing Adventures is the right one for you. Captain Derek Stakelin will be your charter guide. He has been fishing around Anclote River for 15 years and wants to share his experience with his guests.
He owns a 25’ Carolina Skiff (Center console) powered by a 200 HP Yamaha engine. This sturdy vessel comes equipped with modern fishing technologies such as GPS, Fish Finder, Livebait well, and a Wireless trolling motor. Plus, an ice box you to store your food and drinks. Up to 1 to 4 guests can fish at the same time.
Captain Derek offers inshore fishing in Florida. He’ll teach you how to catch fish using the best methods for each species. These techniques include Trolling, Jigging, Drift Fishing, and Light Tackle. The captain can customize your trip however you want it to be.
You’ll be provided with quality fishing gear so you can focus solely on fishing. Prepare to reel various inshore fish species like Black Drum, Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, Snapper, Snook, Sheepshead, Bonnethead Shark, and more.
Skinny D’s Fishing Adventures will provide your fishing gear and licenses. There’s also complimentary water available onboard. Pack your snacks and drink. You can bring limited wine and beer, but no glass bottles or containers. No liquor and drug are allowed onboard.
