Under bluebird skies with high pressure and unfavorable winds—a nightmare scenario for any fishing guide or experienced angler—Josh still delivered an incredible day on the water. His patience, kindness, and sense of fun made the trip unforgettable. My oldest son caught five different species: trout, redfish, flounder, whiting, and sheepshead. Everyone on board reeled in fish, and we ended up with plenty of keepers, far exceeding my expectations for such challenging conditions. Without a doubt, we’ll be booking with Josh again!

It was just Josh and me out on the water, enjoying perfect weather. While the conditions made for a challenging fishing environment, Josh’s hard work and expertise made all the difference. He provided clear, helpful instructions to improve my technique, which paid off as I started landing fish. To top it off, on the very last cast of the day, I caught a massive redfish! It was an incredible experience with a fantastic guide and all-around great person. I highly recommend Josh for anyone looking for a fun and memorable day on the water.

From start to finish, our experience with Captain Josh was outstanding. He communicated clearly beforehand, was fully prepared when we arrived, and kept his boat spotless and organized. His deep knowledge of the waters and commitment to finding the best fishing spots made for an excellent day on the water. Josh’s patience and teaching skills stood out—he took the time to share techniques and tips, leaving me feeling like I learned a lot. Unlike other charters where you simply reel in fish that the guide hooks, Josh ensures you’re actively fishing, from casting to reeling. On top of his expertise, Captain Josh is simply a great person to spend a day with, always working hard to ensure success and enjoyment. We caught plenty of fish, and we’re already looking forward to booking another trip with him in the future. Highly recommend!

We had a bit of a slow start, but after checking out a few spots, we hit the jackpot. My family and I had an amazing time catching redfish and black drum. My son even hooked a stingray—definitely a surprise! Everyone caught something, and we ended the day with 8 fish that’ll provide many delicious dinners. Captain Josh was fantastic, with a wealth of knowledge that made the experience even better. We’ll definitely be booking with him again. A solid 5.0 rating from the Steele family.
