My kids (ages 10 and 11) and I had an absolutely amazing and adventurous day with Captain Russ! Since my kids had only fished a couple of times before, he patiently taught them the basics and made learning really fun. We spent 4 hours inshore fishing and caught grouper, redfish, flounder, and a few mangrove snappers! The entire experience was SO MUCH FUN, and we give him 5 stars. Highly recommend! Captain Russell is not only skilled and fun but also full of great fishing stories from Florida and beyond. There are many charters to choose from, but you won’t be disappointed with Captain Russell—he knows the area and makes the trip incredibly enjoyable!

Russ always gets us on the fish! I’ve been on dozens of trips with him and always come back with a bag full of fillets. What I love most is the variety of species and locations we fish. We’ve caught Reds, Gags, Mangroves, Flounder, Grunts, and more. I’m especially looking forward to gag season in September—it's only a couple of weeks long, so be sure to reserve your spot! Fall and winter bring the Sheepshead, which are a blast to catch. Highly recommend Captain Russ—he's incredibly knowledgeable and has top-notch equipment!

Captain Russell is an excellent guide and a pleasure to fish with. When I return to Florida this fall, another trip with him will definitely be at the top of my list. He actively hunts for fish, constantly adjusting baits and locations to keep things exciting. During our charter, we caught six different species of game fish while fishing in the mangroves and the Bay. He also filleted our catch to perfection. Captain Russell goes above and beyond to ensure your day on the water is as enjoyable as possible, catering to all your needs.
