I’ve been out fishing with Joe many times. We always catch fish. Sometimes many, sometimes a few, but high quality catches always! Joe’s got a great, very well maintained boat that allows us to cover a lot of ground if we need to—from shipping channel depth to waters near the mangroves that might not even be a foot deep. We’ve caught lots of reds, snook and grouper. We have caught some amazing gag groupers on almost every one of our trips out. Big fish, fun to catch, and great eating. Joe filets them up nice! Even got the grouper cheeks yesterday! Joe knows the waters well and is a great charter captain. He has become a good friend too. He works hard and provides great value all around for what I pay him. For Tampa Bay charters, he’s among the best, and for me, I’ll always use him if he stays in the business.

We had a great time fishing with Joe I would definitely recommend him to anyone no matter the skill level. He had us catching some awesome fish. Not only was the fishing good but I was also impressed how prepared he was for the day. His boat was clean and had a live well full of bait so we could get right to fishing.

Great trip and captains! We appreciate the time and knowledge Joe and Johnny shared with us. They communicated with us a few days prior to review details of the trip. The boat was clean and spacious. We met at the ramp off Gandy, plenty of parking and easy to navigate. We had beautiful weather and caught lots of fish! Gave us tips on casting and plenty of live bait for all our casting mistakes! We caught plenty of fish, catch and release mostly. Kept a few fish and they filleted them for us after. Will be back! Thanks again!

Been fishing several times with Joe and it is always great. Super personality, great boat and equipment and most importantly he will work his tail off to be sure you have a great time. We had 3 people with inshore slams this trip which was fantastic however he always makes it worthwhile.
