South Water Charters targets a wide range of local species, including Permit, Spanish Mackerel, Flounder, Redfish, Pompano, Whiting, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Black Drum, Sheepshead, Snook, and more, depending on the season. Utilizing techniques such as light tackle fishing, drifting, bottom fishing, and even specialized methods like Flounder gigging, we cater to all fishing preferences. With Captain Skylar at the helm, you're guaranteed an authentic and thrilling fishing adventure.

Thinking of bringing the whole family along? At South Water Charters, kids are absolutely welcome! We ensure a family-friendly environment where safety is a priority. Children must wear life vests, so it’s a good idea to check with us beforehand to ensure we have the appropriate sizes available. Feel free to bring your favorite snacks to keep everyone energized and happy throughout the trip.

Our fishing excursions take place on a 24’ Starcraft pontoon boat, accommodating up to 10 passengers comfortably. This modern vessel is equipped with a fighting chair, essential fishing gear, and a toilet for your convenience. Captain Skylar provides top-quality rods, reels, and lures, and live bait is included. Be sure to ask if you'll have the opportunity to catch your own bait, adding an extra layer of fun to your outing.

Before joining us, please ensure that everyone in your group has a local fishing license, which can be easily obtained online or by consulting Captain Skylar. To ensure a comfortable and safe experience, bring essentials such as sunglasses, a hat, and sunscreen (non-spray). While we offer some beverages on board, you are welcome to bring your own. Moderate alcohol consumption is permitted, but please avoid hard liquor and glass bottles for safety reasons.
