Chartered with captain Chad and deckhand John on 2-23-25. Came down from Wisconsin with 3 friends and from the moment we stepped on the boat, to the last handshakes, these gentlemen were an absolute blast to be fishing with. Their professional standard, fishing knowledge and personalities, were something all guides should implement. The weather (wind and rain) was not the greatest but we always felt comfortable and safe while fishing. Within the first hour we felt like we were fishing with friends, not simply a hired guide. We started the first couple of hours trolling in search of a giant Yellowfin or Wahoo but to no avail. Chad asked us what our goal was for the day. We said to catch a Yellowfin. A bucket list fish that still needed a ✔️ mark on our list. He said we could continue for the day in search of one big fish or try to put numbers in the boat with some average sized fish. For us, it was a no brainer. We made a quick move and within the first 30 seconds we hooked up. Within the next couple of hours we put 10 Yellowfin on ice and we were all smiling. After that we went back to trolling for a jumbo for a bit but the rain and wind continued to pickup so our group said we were good to head back. Chad dropped us off at our boat to get out of our rain gear and grab a cold beer. They met us at the marina where they had our fish hanging for pictures and proceeded to clean the days catch afterwards. I can't recommend captain Chad and his deckhand John enough. We all were extremely impressed and could not be happier with the experience. Thank you gentlemen! As long as you are doing what you do, we will be back to fish with you anytime.

I have fished with Capt. Chad several times and in my opinion, he is the best offshore captain hands down! Great trips and works hard to put his clients on the fish.

I recently went on the best fishing charter of my life with Southern Pro Charters. Captain Chad was very knowledgeable, helpful, and patient. He and and his Deckhand John were always quick to respond to our requests, making the experience smooth and enjoyable. The teamwork between Chad and John was amazing. Very efficient with little down time to maximize fishing time and oppurtunity. John was always there to help with baiting hooks and untangling lines, and their camaraderie made the trip fun and memorable. Thanks to their combined efforts, we had an incredible day on the water, catching plenty of fish and creating unforgettable memories. Chad is great. He (and his deckhand, John) worked hard and put us on the fish. They are also very service oriented, make sure very one is having fun, and are enjoyable to fish with. I highly recommend Chad and will us him again.
