I have used stone free drifters guide service on a few separate occasions now. It was evident from the first trip that Hunter is passionate about fly fishing, having a good time, and putting fish in the boat. Hunter brings the whole package with his guide service, from the flies to the boat he has everything you would need. I would highly recommend Hunter/ Stonefree drifters to anyone who is looking to catch trout in the Cumberland river. As always, it’s a great time and an awesome learning experience!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I cannot say enough about my day on the Cumberland River with Stonefree Drifters. Not only were we lead to the fish, but we had so much fun on top of it. Hunter (our guide) has such a passion for the sport of fishing. He was very knowledgeable and considerate. You could clearly tell that he was there to ensure that we had the most amazing day. There is something to say about hiring someone to float you down a river to fish and then you walk away feeling like you gained a friend for life.

One of the most enjoyable and fun days on the river I have ever had and not just because we caught fish. Hunter, our guide, is knowledgeable, considerate, flexible with accommodations, and most importantly has a true passion for fishing that was so refreshing to see. I highly recommend giving Stonefree Drifters an opportunity. High fives all around.

Me and my buddy had an excellent time on the river. Hunter made sure that both of us met our goals for the day; which was to get a 15 plus inch rainbow and land some brook trout and brown trout. We got to fish a huge part of the river and try new techniques that we had not done earlier. Will definitely book another trip in the future!
