Captain Sam Ramey has been fishing in the area his whole life and knows the best ways to help you fill out your buckets with fish. Whether you’re a beginner angler or you already have tons of fish under your belt, you’ll have a great time on this boat.
You’ll be fishing on a 28’ Contender center console that accommodates up to 6 guests. The boat is powered by a twin 250 HP Suzuki engine and has all the necessary safety and navigational gear. Built-in 2012, this modern vessel is top of the line and tailored to the waters of the Gulf Coast. Light and fast, this reliable boat will take you to your fishing spot in no time.
The main target depends on the time of year and the type of fishing. Grouper, Snapper, Cobia, Amberjack, Sharks, Mackerel, Tripletail, Snook, Trout, Redfish, Flounder, and so much more to catch! The captain covers your fishing license, drinks, and even cleans your catch free of charge.
All trips come with quality Penn rods and reels, as well as a range of lures and live bait. You need to wear weather-appropriate clothing and bring snacks and drinks of your choice. Sun protection is recommended. All trips are family-friendly, so don’t hesitate to bring your kids and show them something completely different.

June 20th My husband son and I booked an offshore fishing charter with Captain Sam Ramey and his First Mate. They were both cheerful and good-natured extremely energetic and enthusiastic. This was our first charter and exactly the type of personality we were hoping for and got. We started off with safety first which was a great plus and then we went right into fun and the adventure which never stalled or got boring. We were given excellent instruction on how to properly and successfully take advantage of the resources on board i.e. fishing poles and bait provided . They assisted and hooked the bait, we were given excellent tips to maximize our catches of the day. I was especially impressed by their integrity. We measured every single catch down to the inch and if we were off by half an inch it was an immediate release back into the water. No exceptions and that’s what made it real and the experience outstanding. It was educational but we didn’t feel like we were in class; it was a great way to learn about Florida’s fishing laws having a blast. Plenty of time for pictures plenty of opportunities to store our personal belongings. And despite the discomfort we are all experiencing during Covid we felt very safe and comfortable with the cleanliness and awareness of the crew and the charter boat. Upon our return much to our surprise these great guys did what no one wants to do ; cut & cleaned the fish and made sure they were ready for us to put on ice grill & eat! Highly recommend fantastic family adventure and or adult outing.
