We'll catch all kinds of fish in the Gulf of Mexico. If the species is in season and legal size you're welcome to keep it. We'll fillet the catch at the end of the trip for you.

Thermocline Charters is a federally permitted family operated charter located in the Tampa/St Pete area. Having these permits is important because it allows us to target a variety of fish farther out in the Gulf of Mexico. 

You’ll be fishing with Captain Dave and one of his family members as the first mate. We offer family oriented offshore deep sea fishing trips, sunset and site seeing cruises, as well as sandbar and Island trips. Custom trips can be designed just for you. We enjoy taking first timers out for an exciting experience. If you’re new to boating and fishing we’re the charter for you. This is your experience. Let’s make it a memorable one. 

Our vessel is a 27’ catamaran that is powered with twin 225 horsepower Suzuki outboards. Simrad electronics with sonar, radar, and autopilot help us find the fish and navigate the waterways. We’re also equipped with a GPS trolling motor that will hold us in position for fishing, watching dolphins, or the sunset. We have plenty of room to accommodate up to 6 passengers. 

Rods and reels are provided. Fishing licenses are not required to be purchased. You’re covered under us. The only things you need to bring are food, drinks (but no alcohol), and sunblock. We’ll even fillet your fish if you’d like.
