Captain Drey is an excellent fishing guide. He asked before our trip what kind of fishing we were interested in and designed the fishing around our preferences. Since we were not familiar with catching the huge redfish we were targeting, he made sure we understood how to attract them and what to expect when we hooked one. When we did get one on the line, he helped get the fish to the boat by offering clear advice throughout the 15-minute flight. He was very careful with his handling of the fish and made sure that all of those we were releasing were fully revived. Most importantly, Captain Drey made clear that the trip was about having fun and he made sure of that by putting us on huge numbers of fish, including some giants (50-inch redfish, 40-inch cobia, too many rockfish and blues to count). I’d recommend him without any reservation and plan to hit the water again with him soon.
