Lyle was an exceptional instructor! My girlfriend and I were complete novices to fly fishing, but he was incredibly informative and patient right from the start. Being new to fishing, I felt a bit nervous about my upcoming fly fishing excursion in Yosemite. However, Lyle, my guide from Tight Line Therapy, made the entire experience pleasant and straightforward. He was patient as I learned how to cast and locate fish. Along the way, Lyle provided insights about the changing water conditions and their impact on trout. He also taught me the mechanics of fly rod casting. We encountered various wildlife, including deer and a bald eagle. On the second day we paddled Lyle’s boats upstream from Lake McClure. Back at the lodge that night we ate like kings! Overall, this weekend was incredibly rewarding. I had a great time, learned a lot, and enjoyed delicious meals.
