Beat the heat with an early morning creek trip
We left the dock at 7:30 with a livewell full of mullet and shrimp in search of speckled trout and redfish. We were able to pull 6 keepers from our first spot as the tide dropped out. As the tide started coming back in, we added some nice size black drum and some big inshore reds.

Fishing with David and Sean
We were targeting over-slot size redfish. The bite was a little slow but we maximized our opportunities and landed 2 of the 3 fish we hooked up. David also landed a great size spinner shark at around 6ft long. The inshore fishing was slow as we moved around to several spots looking for Speckled trout.

Went out with Captain Dakin looking to land my first Redfish. Capt. Cody's knowledge of the local waters was evident, as he got us to several prime fishing spots throughout the day. His passion for the sport is just awesome, and his friendly demeanor added to the enjoyment of the fishing trip. Not only did he provide top-notch guidance, but he also shared great insights about the area's marine life, ecology, history of Charleston, etc. Landed Redfish and speckled Sea Trout throughout the day. Culminated with this awesome Red Drum!

Captain Cody was a great guide. My son’s 13th birthday will be a lasting one and he was an integral part of making that happen. He asked for sharks and he got us to them! Super down to earth, friendly, funny, and full of fishing knowledge that he was more than happy to share and teach. Thanks Cody, we will for sure be biking with you again in the future .

Cody took us on a three-quarter-day hunt for antique drum. We had a terrific day catching a few red fish, including two huge old drum. Cody was very informed about the region and generously provided many of his tips and techniques. He immediately got the less experienced fishers in our group up to speed and successful. We would fish with him again in a heartbeat.
