I specialize and focus on wadefishing with artificial lures for trophy class speckled trout and redfish, though my abilities extend far beyond that expertise. Whether you're looking for that one trophy fish, looking to learn new angling skills or sharpen old ones, need a tournament guide, or a fun family outing, I can accommodate you!
As a guide it is my goal every day to direct my clients towards a great day on the water while pursuing their personal best speckled trout or redfish, but also to help them learn something new every time they book with me. There is always a lesson to be learned on the water, from the moment we leave the dock to when we return. I am constantly focused on teaching clients how to see and use the signs that I use every day to be successful on the water, so that they may take these teachings and use them to be successful on their home waters. My goal is to make you leave the water a better angler and guide you to your personal best fish, every day.

We had a lot of fun with Capt. Eric back in August as we celebrated my Dad’s birthday (he caught the most fish on this trip and was ecstatic). I had never fished out of Marina 37 in Corpus Christi, but it wasn’t a disappointment at all. Capt. Eric is very helpful and extremely knowledgeable about the targeted species we were going for. With the help of Eric, I was able to catch my biggest flounder to date, a 5lb 21” beast of a flattie! I’m looking forward to our next trip coming in March of 2022 as we go for some giant trophy trout. See you again soon Captain!

Eric is a great guide. Among the countless redfish, he has put me on several over slot trout including three 6+ lb trout in 2021. Despite the post freeze depleted fish stocks, he still finds the big girls. He is very knowledgeable of trout/redfish and the bay system he guides in. Highly recommended.

Great trip! I cannot express how much my brother and I enjoyed our day out on the water with Eric.
