Fishing conditions in Rio Hondo, Texas are heating up as spring rolls in, bringing warmer water temps and more active fish in both the Laguna Madre and Arroyo Colorado. Anglers have been reporting steady action across a variety of species, especially during early morning and late afternoon bites. Inshore Action Speckled trout are biting well on live shrimp under popping corks and soft plastics near grass flats and drop-offs.
