Drift Fishing Singer Island
Lenny booked the boat for his friends but because of prior poor experiences, they didnt want to troll. Ok, let’s run out and go right on the drift. I ran north a short distance and then we started bottom fishing. They were catching porgies, grunts, sand tiles and other reef fish. They caught more fish on this trip than they did on their prior 3 trips. They had a great time and took home a big bag of fillets for dinner.

West Palm Beach Charter Fishing
Harald from Sweden booked us and really made me nervous when he said he wanted to catch “Big Fish “. Only problem was we had a full moon, flat seas, bright sun, and a stuck high pressure system! Great conditions for a picnic, not so much for a fishing trip !! Trolling was predictably a bust, so I switched over to drift fishing and we started catching grunts and sandtiles. Not long after, my flat lined live sardine exploded into a water volvanoe as a very large sailfish inhaled the bait. In the ensuing struggle we managed to wrap the kite around the tuna tower three times, but got back all of our gear snd teleased the sailfish. After we got all of our kite gear back out a 50 lb Barracuda invited himself to our party. This thing was huge ! At this point it was time to head back, the group had a nice pile of fillets for lunch at the marina, and Paul and I had a mess to clesn up !

Family Fun Drift Fishing
Adam booked the boat again, bringing his three young children and giving me a three hour deadline ! I ran north to some broken bottom and everybody started catching fish. We kept some porgies, grunts, and sand tiles and the family met the Grandparents at the Marina restaurant for a lunch of fresh caught fish . Everybody had a great time!!!

Charter Fishing Singer Island
The Hahn family came out with us today in a brisk 42 degrees this morning! We started trolling and within a few minutes boated a very large bonita. Ok, this is a good start i thought, and we started trolling and then our way back rod went off and we brought in a large wahoo! Ok, this is a real good start i thought, but then some of the boys started feeling a little queasy so we pulled the plug and were back at the dock by 9:00. Done Deal !!

Hot fishing on a cool day- Singer Island Charter
Kyle dragged his parents out today on the first day of a cold weather front moving in. I was a little concerned about the weather but everything turned out fine. The cold weather triggered an early morning bite and twenty minutes into the trip we boated a nice wahoo on the troll. This was soon followed by a sailfish which we released, and then a couple of Bonita. We trolled thru slack tide and then went on the drift. No love on the kite today, but the bottom rods started producing huge triggerfish and some other reef fish. We kept fishing until the bite died znf then we ran for jome…lots of fish to clean !!

Great Trip Trolling and Drift Fishing
Dave and his buddies came out today and had an outstanding trip. We started out trolling, no bonitas today but we got a big Sailfish on the troll on one of the light rods, so Dave had a blast. We finished up trolling and went on the drift, on the kite and live bait we got a 25 lb king mackerel( video coming) and a nice mahi. The bottom rods produced porgies, grunts, snd sand tilefish, no snappers today. Just beautiful weather and dome fun fishing !!

Drift Fishing Fun Riviera Beach
Phil brought his nephew out today for a morning charter. We started out trolling and picked up a bunch of bullet bonitas. I didnt see anything to keep me on the troll, so we started drift fishing and they started catching porgys, grunts, sand tiles, and other reef fish. The guys had a great time and took home a big bag of fillets for dinner, Perfect weather and great company !!

Drift Fishing Fun !
Ethan brought his buddies out today and we started out trolling but it was very slow so we went up north and drift fished. This crew was all new to fishing, but as soon as their baits hit bottom they started catching Lane Snappers, Grunts, and Triggerfish. They had a blast and then took the fillets to the Marina restaurant for lunch .

Winter Grey Triggerfish Action - Tuna Wahoo Charters Palm Beach
James joined us for an early morning winter adventure aboard Tuna Wahoo Charters, heading out around sunrise under clear skies and flat calm seas. The conditions looked promising for our 4 Hour Fishing Adventures offshore trip, and we were ready to put some lines in the water and see what the day would bring us! With our gear rigged and ready, we focused on trolling to find some big fish, mahi, bonita, king mackerel or even a sailfish. Unfortunately the picture perfect conditions shut down the troll bite completely. After two hours with nothing to show we decided to go drift fishing. I rigged 5 rods to fish at different water levels, and Paul flew the kite and put out a live google eye. Again, picture perfect conditions kept the fish from biting, even when we could read them piled up on the bottom on my scope. Finally at 10:30 someone threw the switch and the bottom fish started biting. The crew had a great time reeling triggers, sand tiles, squirrel fish and other bottom fish. I filleted up some for fish tacos for their dinner. The winter months can be fantastic for offshore fishing down here, and today proved that point perfectly, there's always something to catch. Singer Island Charter Fishing
Mike and Tom joined us today and had a great time fishing. We started out trolling and quickly put a blackfin tuna in the box. The bite slowed up after that, so we went on the drift and started catching yellowtail snappers, grunts, small groupers and other reef fish. Mike was getting bit two at a time. Before we knew it, 4 hours was up and it was time to head home.

Palm Beach Drift Fishing
Brian and son Jake joined Paul and I for an early start today with a great sunrise. After some unproductive trolling, we switched over to drift fishing and it was game on. They landed some nice yellowtails, grunts, and triggerfish and had a great time. They are heading home tomorrow with a cooler full of fillets .

Palm Beach Fall Offshore: Trolling and Drift Fishing
One for the books today! Brian and I headed out this fall for an early morning offshore run with partly cloudy skies overhead. The conditions looked solid for what we had planned, and we were ready to get lines in the water for our 4 Hour Fishing Adventures with Tuna Wahoo Charters! The best fishing charter I have ever been on, Captain Rich Adler is amazing and his First Mate Dougie was outstanding as well. They were especially amazing with my teenaged son who is Autistic. Thank you gentlemen again for an amazing time!!! We will be back!!

Captain Rich & his First Mate Paul are expert anglers! My father generously booked this private charter for me & my son during our visit to Florida. It was a spectacular experience. We caught many varieties of fish, dozens of them, continuously throughout the day culminating in a big fish fry when we got home. Rich & Paul took us to the best spots and ensured that we had a wonderful time. Their boat, the Tuna Wahoo, is the perfect fishing vessel.
