Brian and son Jake joined Paul and I for an early start today with a great sunrise. After some unproductive trolling, we switched over to drift fishing and it was game on. They landed some nice yellowtails, grunts, and triggerfish and had a great time. They are heading home tomorrow with a cooler full of fillets .

One for the books today! Brian and I headed out this fall for an early morning offshore run with partly cloudy skies overhead. The conditions looked solid for what we had planned, and we were ready to get lines in the water for our 4 Hour Fishing Adventures with Tuna Wahoo Charters! We started out with trolling for Wahoo and Mahi and went offshore to 800 feet of water depth to cover ground, and then worked our way back inshore. On the troll our only bite was a nice skipjack tuna which we bled and popped into the fishbox. We then started drift fishing and Brian and his son Jake were soon boxing Sand tiles, and grunts for a fresh fish lunch at the marina restaurant. If you're looking to get out on the water for some quality offshore fishing, our Family-Friendly Palm Beach Fishing Charters are perfect for anglers wanting to experience what these waters have to offer. We run 4 Hour Fishing Adventures that give you plenty of time to work through different techniques like drift fishing, kite fishing, and bottom fishing - the same methods we used today with Brian. The offshore bite has been consistent, and the fall season is prime time for getting hooked up early and keeping the action going. Whether you're bringing the family or just want to spend a morning cruisin' the flats and working the deeper water, Tuna Wahoo Charters has you covered. Give us a call and let's get you set up for your next offshore adventure - the bite has been hot and we're ready to put you on the fish!

A very mixed bag for Jim Thrash and his boys, trolling and drifing we got 13 different species and 29 fish. Flat calm and hot, almost too pretty a day but they went home with a pile of fillets. We had a blast !

We covered a lot of ground today for Keith and his group and we had a beautiful day on the water. First day fishing since the trip to the boatyard and the boat performed great.

We left early today with 4 members of the Stuart Rod and Reel Club. This was my first trip since the hurricane blew past us last week so I really didnt know what to expect. Trolling was good for the first hour with 4 bonita and a bar jack falling for strips and skirts. Nothing to get crazy over, but nice to see that much action. After the first hour the bite died, putting in another hour it was still dead so we switched over to drift fishing. No current to speak of, we were drifting .3 to .5 because of the breeze. The fish were there, just not feeding. We got a couple of grunts and had to run back, one of the charter had an appointment this afternoon.

John joined us today and as soon ss we left the inlet the weeds shut us down from trolling. We tried for about an hour but it was just too frustrating so we went on the drift, starting in front of the Breakers in 275 feet and let the wind and current push us northwest. We put together a nice catch for John, including yellowtail snapper, grunts, sandtiles and other reef fish. a break in the weeds allowed us go troll home and we picked up a bonita on the way back

Paul and Ashley came out today and so did the weeds, so we cut the trolling short. On the drift we had a steady bite of reef fish. Nothing spectacular, but a nice bite with a light breeze which kept the temperature down. This was a beautiful day on the water.

One for the books today! Summer fishing in West Palm Beach, FL brought Pat and me out on the water with Tuna Wahoo Charters. We set off in the early morning under partly cloudy skies, perfect conditions for our 3/4 Day Trip. The Gulf Stream was calling, and we were ready to answer with our arsenal of techniques. Once the stage was set, we got down to business. Trolling was our go-to method, letting us cover a lot of ground and target multiple species. We mixed it up with some bottom fishing, dropping lines deep to see what we could entice from below. The real excitement came when we broke out the kites, a technique that's hard to beat for bringing in the big ones. Our efforts paid off with a nice variety in the box. The highlight was definitely the 36-inch King Mackerel - a real fighter that gave us a run for our money. We also hooked into some smaller but equally fun catches: a 16-inch Mahi Mahi, showing off those brilliant colors, and a pair of 14-inchers - a Little Tunny and a Yellowfin Tuna. Each fish brought its own challenge and reward, making for a well-rounded day on the water. If you're thinking about getting in on some of this action, Tuna Wahoo Charters has got you covered. Our 3/4 Day Trips are perfect for anglers looking to experience the best that West Palm Beach has to offer. Whether you're after the hard-fighting pelagics or want to try your hand at some bottom fishing, we've got the skills and the spots to make it happen. Summer's a prime time for offshore fishing in these parts, with species like King Mackerel, Mahi Mahi, and Tuna all in the mix. We're talking about some of the most sought-after gamefish in the Atlantic, and they're right in our backyard. Our trips are all about giving you the best experience possible, tailored to what's biting and what you're after. We'll put you on the fish using a variety of techniques, from trolling to kite fishing, ensuring you get the most out of your time on the water. And let's not forget the views - there's nothing quite like being out on the open ocean, with the Palm Beach coastline fading into the distance. So if you're ready to test your skills against some of Florida's top offshore species, give us a shout. We'll set you up with everything you need for a day of fishing you won't soon forget. Just bring your sense of adventure, and we'll take care of the rest. Looking forward to seeing you out here on the blue!

Pat brought his son and some buddies out today to see what was biting. We started off trolling and I made sure everyone got a shot at reeling in large bonita. Along the way we also picked up a Barracuda that was 4 1/2 feet long. We went on the drift and pucked up some small reef fish and a 24 inch Dolphin. while reeling in more Bonita, we got swarmed by bull sharks, so we brought in the smaller gear, put out a shark rod with slab of bonita and hooked up to an eight foot long, 500 lb bull shark. The crew was finally sble to bring it in, but the leader broke at boatside so it was a release ! We went back on the troll to head back home but the ride was interupted when we hooked and landed a 20 lb king mackerel. The boys had a great time, took home plenty if fish for dinner snd made some great memories.

Jimmy brought his family out today and the Bonita were on fire on the troll. We were in catch and releases mode right away and the fishing did not disappoint !

Willie joined us today and we decided to skip the trolling entirely and went directly to drift fishing. It took Willie a few minutes to figure out our fishing down here but he quickly got the hang of things and put together a nice catch of reef fish. I did the fillet honors and Willie and Quita had a great lunch at the marina restaurant.

Shoan brought his family out today for a 4 hour trip. We tried trolling and picked up some bonitas but ahain the weeds were too thick for effective trolling. on the drift they had more fun, catching bonitas, yellowtail snappers, grunts, and sandtile fish. It was a pleasure hosting tjis family and we look forward to fishing with them again

I knew today was going to be tough, no wind forecasted and bright and sunny, but after yesterdays great fishing I was hopeful for Mark's group. We ran out in glass calm seas, less weed than yesterday but still too much ! We were able to pick a few Bonita on the troll. We switched over to drift fishing but found that 4 knots of current prevented us from fishing deep. We moved inshore got another Bonita and then a nice mutton snapper. Everytime I turned around we had drifted up to Jupiter snd had to run back south go reset. Beautiful day but tough fishing !

Patrick and Kaysi came out today but the amount of weeds floating around killed the trolling. After getting two Bonita on the troll and about 900 lbs of weed, we gave up and went on the drift with live sardines. Good call !! First up was a sailfish, followed by non-stop action with another 6 large Bonitas and 3 Blue Runners, large enough that they ate live baits ! Great trip, everyone had fun...except the sardines !

Captain Rich & his First Mate Paul are expert anglers! My father generously booked this private charter for me & my son during our visit to Florida. It was a spectacular experience. We caught many varieties of fish, dozens of them, continuously throughout the day culminating in a big fish fry when we got home. Rich & Paul took us to the best spots and ensured that we had a wonderful time. Their boat, the Tuna Wahoo, is the perfect fishing vessel. If you want to make great memories while on vacation and enjoy some deep sea fishing, I highly recommend TUNA WAHOO CHARTERS.
