Experience South Texas waterfowl hunting across shallow coastal marshes and private freshwater ponds. We track migratory bird movements, changing wind conditions, and feeding patterns daily, choosing the target water body that offers the strongest action. Your morning begins tucked inside well-concealed, brushed-in blinds, watching realistic decoy spreads work as mixed flocks of ducks turn into the wind and commit to the landing pocket.
Built for small groups looking for a focused, hands-on hunt, our guides handle the scout work, strategic calling, and decoy placement so you can concentrate entirely on mounting your gun and taking clean shots. This was such an amazing experience. Our captain was Brent, but we were able to meet the other captain Ben, too! Brent was very knowledgeable, respectful, and fun to be around - down to earth and willing to have fun with two crazy Minnesota girls! I think the best part was when he would cheer us on when we would set the hook into something. I would definitely recommend these boys to anyone! We got back to the dock and Brent cleaned our fish and provided us a with a heavy bag of fish that we brought to Doc’s to have cooked up - OMFG YUMMY! We were also able to get to know the other captain Ben, who was also fun, polite, and respectful! Anyways, to Brent and Ben, especially Brent, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for taking us out and sharing your love for fishing - it was truly an amazing experience!

The morning started rainy, and our first spot was a bit slow—we only caught 4 or 5 short trout. But at the second spot, the action was non-stop! We caught our limit of trout in about 30–45 minutes, including a giant 22" over-slot trout. At the next stop, on the very first cast, we landed a 30" bull red. What a day! We’ll definitely be back for more.
