Myself and my girlfriend just came back from a 2 day fishing trip on the river. This was our first time fly fishing. Our guide Alex was amazing and we caught lots of beautiful rainbows! Definitely recommended. Great experience all around. Thanks again Alex!

Alex is a patient and knowledgable guide who will get you into some fish! Had a great day out drifting the Cowichan River with him and got into multiple Steelhead and trout. Definitely recommend using Alex as a guide for river fishing trips on the island!

Awesome day on the water. Mid December crisp and overcast. We received all the help we needed to tune up on our fly casting and started hooking up immediately after launching. We got to try a multitude of gear and water and landed 3 species of fish throughout the day. We were never rushed or conscious of our skill set and our guide promptly helped us with our gear without hesitation and made sure we stayed on the fish for the whole trip. Also my first coho on the cowichan.... so 💥 Highly recommend.

My wife and I had a great day on the Cowichan with Alex. He really knows the river and where the fish should be. He's really good on the sticks as well, keeping the boat where it needs to be. We caught some great fish, including an 18" rainbow, which was part of my wife's trout slam. Look up Alexif you're interested in fishing near Victoria.
