Sea Dwellers Dive Shop welcomes divers for Lobster Season, running from August 6, 2026 through March 31, 2027. This seasonal dive is priced at $110, and all participants must arrive with a valid Florida lobster permit. Additional costs apply for gear rentals and guided dives, and please note that not all areas can be legally lobstered. After reserving your spot, be sure to check with the shop to confirm which dive sites are open for harvesting during your visit. Private trips available for up to 10 people for $1400. Join us this Halloween for a two-tank, three-location trip built for divers of every level!

Dive 1 takes advanced divers down to Spiegel Grove, one of the most iconic deep wrecks in the Keys. Dive 2 eases into a shallow reef site, perfect for those sitting out the deep dive. Dive 3 is shallow reef/wreck and open to the entire group — everyone gets in the water together.

Divers are welcome to choose to get in the water at the first location or the second location. While topside, you'll be treated to snacks, music, and Halloween festivities on deck while you wait for dive 3. Any divers who want to dive all three locations are welcome to select the "Third Dive" add-on when booking.

Limited rental equipment is available, and all harvesters must carry a valid Florida Saltwater Fishing License with Lobster Permit. Due to the nature of this trip, snorkelers and non-diving riders are generally not recommended.

Reminder crew will measure your animals with you and have the right to require you to toss the animal back if it does not meet the minimum measurements. Moore Country takes this very seriously and fines can be upwards of $10K for any animal harvested that do not meet the standards established. Must be a certified SCUBA Diver and must have active lobster permit. 

If you are not an experience lobster diver, you may need a guide. 

AVELO Technician Certification in Key Largo
