Every spring, Gulf Shores comes alive with one of the most exciting — and underrated — fisheries on the Gulf Coast. Just before the sheepshead spawn, the bite gets absolutely wild. We’re talking non-stop action around the bridges, jetties, and inshore structure where these striped fighters stack up in huge numbers. The bite is so hot, you can practically fish without bait. If you've never timed it right before the spawn, you're missing out on a fast-paced, light-tackle frenzy that surprises even seasoned anglers. Join us this spring and see just how good it gets.

From mid-May through the end of June, the speckled trout fishing along the beaches of Gulf Shores is nothing short of electric. Big schools of trout push right up into the shallows, feeding aggressively and crushing baits on nearly every cast. It’s not uncommon to hook into fish in the 3- to 6-pound range, making for a thrilling mix of quantity and quality. We will pull right up next to the beach and catch them on the sandbars and channels created by the tides in Gulf Shores. This is really a sight to be seen and we would love to be the crew that shows you this awesome annual run of Speckled Trout.

Patrick guided us on another fantastic fishing trip, and we caught our limit of red snapper. Just like last time, he was patient and took the time to teach us helpful techniques. We tried several spots until we found the bite, then reeled in a couple of impressive fish. Thanks again, Patrick! We are already looking forward to our next trip.

We had an excellent experience with Captain Mike. Our trip was originally scheduled three days earlier, but he contacted us and recommended moving it to later in the week when the bite would be better. We appreciated his honesty and dedication to giving us the best possible trip. We caught Spanish mackerel, sharks, and trout while making plenty of great memories. We cannot wait to come back and fish with him again!

Captain Patrick was fantastic! He kept our hooks baited and took us straight to the best fishing spots. The equipment was well-maintained, and the boat was clean and comfortable. We caught plenty of fish and made wonderful memories along the way. Whether you are an experienced angler or fishing for the first time, I highly recommend booking a trip. We cannot wait to return for another memorable day on the water!

Captain Mike was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and experienced. He knew the best fishing spots and understood the currents well, keeping us consistently on Spanish mackerel and speckled trout. Despite the rough water, we had a fantastic time. This is a great trip for families and anglers of all ages, especially kids who enjoy being on the water. Bring plenty of sunscreen and consider Sea-Bands or Dramamine if you are prone to seasickness. Trick ’Em Fishing offers excellent value, steady catches, and a memorable experience. Highly recommended!
