Panama Adventures

The crew was excellent from start to finish. They asked what we wanted out of the trip, and since it was our first time, we told them we didn’t want to go too far out. They put us on fish right away, helped everyone reel in their catches, and kept the action going. When a few in our group started feeling seasick, they were very accommodating and brought us back early. Friendly, professional, and clearly experienced — we felt in great hands the whole time.

Captain Jeff and his deckhand Justin were fantastic! They were accommodating, attentive to our requests, and made sure everyone had a great time. The boat was perfect for our group, and Captain Jeff kept things smooth even in choppy water. We’ll definitely be booking with them again!

We caught over 30 fish on our trip, which was perfect for my son’s age. He loved reeling in the smaller ones, and when he hooked a big one, it actually startled him! Both gentlemen were incredibly accommodating, friendly, and clearly knew their stuff — they worked quickly and efficiently, only asking me to help reel when the bites were coming nonstop. The boat was a huge plus, with a bathroom and an air-conditioned cabin. After catching so many fish, my son was so worn out that he fell asleep on the ride back. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I can’t recommend them enough.

We booked a morning bottom fishing charter with my wife, father-in-law, and our two daughters (13 and 14), and it was fantastic. The instruction and assistance throughout the trip were excellent. The boat ride out was comfortable, with the choice to sit outside or relax in the air-conditioned cabin, and we especially appreciated having a bathroom on board for the kids. Tyler worked tirelessly keeping our lines baited and gear re-rigged for five anglers — he never stopped moving. The captain did a great job keeping us on productive spots where we had plenty of action. By the end, we had two triggerfish, four keeper snapper, released several more, and caught more grouper than we could count. At one point, we even had a shark come up after our catch, which was exciting to see. These guys truly know their craft and the local waters. Communication before the trip was excellent, and the experience itself was even better. I highly recommend them.

My family and I booked a 6-hour bottom fishing trip with Panama Adventures and had the pleasure of fishing with Clay and Tyler. From start to finish, they were outstanding — working seamlessly with our group that included both seasoned anglers and first-timers. Our goal was simply to have fun and hopefully hook into a shark, and they delivered. We started the day reeling in king mackerel and bonito nonstop. Later, Clay and Tyler used the fresh bonito as bait and took us to one of their shark spots. Within minutes, we were hooked into an 8-foot, 300-pound bull shark. Thanks to their professionalism and energy, we landed it and created an unforgettable memory for our entire family. I can’t recommend Panama Adventures — especially Clay and Tyler — enough for anyone fishing in Panama City, no matter your age or experience level.

This was an amazing experience from start to finish. Captain Clay was fantastic with our three kids, engaging with them, listening to their stories, and answering all their questions. Everyone had the chance to catch fish, and we wrapped up the trip snorkeling at Shell Island. I highly recommend this trip – 10 stars! We’ll definitely book again the next time we’re in town.
