Just spent first week of August. Walleye fishing was great. 450 plus for the week. Cabin very nice. Boat upgrade well worth the money. This a big body of water. Trout fishing tough this time of the year. Pike all 18 to 24 inch casting spinner baits n rattle traps. All the large pike in deeper structure. Camp a great value.

Best Canadian fishing experience I’ve ever had, and I’ve done a lot of different fishing trips all over Canada. Great people, great place, and absolute top notch equipment. I will definitely be going back. Can’t say enough about the whole operation.

Wildewood on Lake Savant is absolutely incredible. Todd, Andy, and Lori are great owners and hosts and the accommodations you get being that far out into the bush are unexpectedly good. Because this isn’t a fly in, we didn’t have limitations on what we could bring. Weber kettles and outdoor fryers were at each cabin for easy cooking and fish fry’s. The boats are all solid with electric start motors and graphs. The upgraded boats are even better! Having electronics to navigate around islands and rock bars is a huge bonus…..as is being able to see where fish are stacked up to drop a jig. The fishing was just pure insanity. If you are a walleye fanatic at all, you have to put this lake and camp on your bucket list. 1-200 walleyes a day isn’t out of the question if you were to only target them. The “narrows” is an experience all of its own in the evening time for an after dinner fishing extravaganza. We caught 100’s of 20”+ fish. We also had some luck with lake trout on this trip. Simply put this was some of the best all around fishing I’ve experienced in my life. 100% we will be back. How can you not?

Just got back from my very first moose hunt ! It was awesome ! Got lucky and got one onmysecond day ! Thanks Andy Todd ,Hiram, and Susie ! Had fun with some old friends and new friends ! Love this place. Very nice to meet the new owners. Weather today was better, only sprinkled on us for about 5 minutes. This is my 5th trip up here and it never dissapoints.

I Think the fishing gets better every year. All new outboards, and re-sent cabin upgrades.. If you haven't booked this would be a great year to do so..
