Similk Bay is a saltwater bay located in Skagit County in Washington. It has an elevation of 2 meters and is the north extension of Skagit Bay, situated southeast of Fidalgo Island. It is also 5.9 miles from Anacortes, a city famous for the adventurous for its endless recreational opportunities.

An Oregon Molele Indian word that means “mouth”, Similk Bay got its name in 1841. According to Vi Hilbert, an author, linguist, teacher, and tribal elder of the Upper Skagit tribe, the Salish name for the Similk beach area can be interpreted as “small stockage”.
