This isn't your typical backcountry fishing trip. Tarpon fishing requires patience, proper technique, and a good dose of luck. We accommodate up to 4 guests, which keeps things comfortable without overcrowding the boat. The morning usually starts with a briefing on tarpon behavior and fighting techniques – these fish can jump 8 feet out of the water and will test every bit of your tackle and resolve. Tampa Bay's structure is perfect for tarpon, with deep channels, grass flats, and plenty of baitfish. We'll position ourselves where the currents and depth changes create ambush points. The atmosphere stays relaxed and encouraging, whether you're 8 or 80 years old. Pack your own snacks and drinks since meals aren't provided, but trust me, you'll be too focused on the fishing to think much about food.
