Spring through fall gives us the best action when they're feeding heavy on crabs and baitfish. What guests enjoy is that hard initial run - they'll try to get back to their hole no matter what. Table fare is excellent, and they're more common than black grouper in our waters. They're smart fish that use structure to their advantage, so heavy tackle is a must.
