We were lucky enough to go fishing with Jason. It was a perfect day from start to finish. Very good and courteous service with everything you need. Very good equipment and a delicious fresh lunch with their own caught fish. If we are in the area again we will be happy to come by again Thank you both for this amazing Day!

Went out with my brother in law and his son and Jay was great. Jay took us to his spot in the morning and was determined to ensure that the kid was reeling in fish all morning. Stopped for lunch and Jay cooked up a good shoreline lunch of sausages fish and served with great homemade salads. After lunch we went to the second spot and all four of us were reeling fish. Easily hit our limit and Jay was keen for us to keep fishing for as long as we wanted. After getting back to shore and the park was done with their testing Jay even offered to fillet our catch before we left. Awesome experience and would 100% recommend Jay and Opeongo Lake Guide service if you’re in the Algonquin park area and looking to get catch lake trout.

We would definitely recommend Opeongo Lake Guide for a trip. I planned a backcountry trip for my father and Grandfather who is in his 80s. So we booked Jay to take us out for a day on our trip. I easily was able to coordinate with them a pick up on the North Arm of Opeongo days into our trip. Everything worked out perfectly and we caught trout and even a bass just off a point on the Lake. To be quite honest Jay worked extremely hard to get the fish to hit and was successful during our day. Normally I blast right past Opeongo and into the back lakes for fishing. This was a fantastic way to get to know Lake Opeongo and I would do it again. We were able to see lots of the Lake. Jay even took us back to the store before dropping us off at our backcountry site so that we we're able to get ice and keep our catches fresh to bring home to family as it was our last night in the park. Our guide Jason was amazing. After getting to his favourite spot he searched for the fish. When he located the fish it became his mission to make them bite the bait. After raising and lowering the baits several times the first fish was on. From then on he fine tuned everything and several more trout ended up in the boat with some live releases. It was a great time out and I would highly recommend Jason to anyone that was looking for a fishing guide.

Had a great day out targeting Lake Trout yesterday for our first time. We each took our limit home and learned lots in the process. Would highly recommend and hope to be back again sometime soon! 🎣

Had a fantastic time fishing with Jay. He was super professional and patient as it was our first time targeting Lakers. He taught my friend and I exactly how to work the fish and explained what we were doing and why. Even while teaching us, we still landed our limits!! lol 5 stars, highly recommend!

I wanted to point out that Jay will find you the fish in Algonquin Park. From the second we got on the boat to when we got off we felt like we were in great hands and we were being taken care of. by a real pro. The pictures speak for themselves as well. I think I am relatively happy.
