A Little Something About Me

You caught me!

Nothing beats the satisfying feeling of accompanying my guests, be it a family or a group of friends, and seeing them marvel at the beautiful wonders of Florida. I am Adam Pait, and I love it when they explore lesser-known water spots in the area, which I honestly think are the perfect place for fishing. I find great pleasure whenever I highlight to them the hotspots rich in a wide variety of fish species or tour them around a river or lake for a relaxing day. Whether they want leisure or to have an active day out in the waters for swimming, I make sure to give them an experience with the books.

If my guests at Aquatic Tour and Guide of Florida LLC want to relax with their family and friends, I highly recommend Lake George. Its waters are great for swimming, and it is something the kids will surely enjoy. Year-round, the waters and wildlife of central Florida are marvelous, and I love taking my guests to plenty of spots where they can bask in the picturesque sunrises and sunsets.

There are guests who, aside from cruising the waters, also want to fish, and I like to take them to fish-rich hotspots and assist them from setting up to reeling in their catch for the day. I want to give them a smooth and comfortable experience. It is for this reason that I make sure that my boats are of high quality with state-of-the-art features.

To me, what makes a fantastic guide is their ability to give their guests the whole experience according to their preferences, be it mere relaxation or active fishing. So, whether a kid, a beginner, or an experienced angler, they are welcome aboard and could expect a fun-filled experience.

Favorite Fishing Experience

The best thing about fishing is not knowing what is on the other end of the line until you reel it in. I guess this is why my favorite fishing experience involved so much luck and fate.

Several years ago, I found myself exhausted and burnt out from my seventy- and eighty-hour work week. Everything about it was getting to me. So, on my birthday that year, I wanted to do something different, and that something different turned out to be wanting to catch fish.

Immediately, I went out and bought the best fishing pole and reel I could get then and took some time off work. I asked my brother where the bite was during that season, and he told me a secret spot where I could expect a lot of striped bass, but not without a warning that I should be careful not to go over the limit.

You don’t need to go far to find yourself.

I took off and brought my two girls, aged 6 and 12, with me. As soon as we arrived at the fishing spot, the striped bass began to bite one after another, and it was crazy! Finally, after waiting for 30 minutes, I placed bait in my new pole and cast it in. Even the girls could immediately hook up two large fish and scream, “Go get the net!”

As I grabbed for the net and we were too preoccupied trying to get the fish caught, my new rod and reel combo, unfortunately, launched off the boat. We landed the girls large fish, and upon counting them, we found that we had already maximized the total limit. Afterward, we started casting and swam around to look for the new rod combo. No luck. My heart sank.

That night when I got home, I called my brother to tell him what had happened and share my sadness about losing the fishing gear. All he said was: “No problem. I’ll meet you there tomorrow.” The following day, we arrived at about the same time in two different boats and started catching fish just as the day before. About five minutes later, my brother shouted for us to get the net. We all watched in awe as the fish swam and struggled through the water. Boy, what a monster it was.

We found it caught up in another line when we went to net the fish. With a huge grin on his face, my brother began to gently pull in the line and let out a happy birthday directed at me. What a great birthday experience it was indeed.

With the combo that got lost the day before, we found that the fish it caught was still on, and it was a nice striped bass. When the second fish was in the net, my brother looked at me and said: “Happy birthday, brother, but I’m keeping these two monsters.” To this day, it is a standing chuckle whenever we fish together. It is one of the fishing memories that I will definitely cherish for the rest of my life.
