You must have heard about Pacifica Pier when you visit Pacifica as an angler. It is one of the best fishing piers in California because it offers a vast array of fish with terrific qualities. It is also the only one you’ll find that is free for fishing and crabbing in the Bay Area.

The L-shaped, quarter-mile-long Pacifica Pier can be accessed from Highway 1 and Beach Boulevard. The main draw here is chinook salmon and striped bass. 1. Go Whale Watching

Pacifica Pier, the city, and its beaches and trails are excellent places for whale watching. In December and January, gray whales can be spotted closest to the shore as they migrate from Alaska. 2. Explore the Golden Gate National Recreation Area

The Golden Gate National Recreation Area includes numerous hiking and scenic spots in Pacifica; these include Mori Point, Sweeney Ridge, and Milara Ridge.
