I surprised my husband with a birthday fishing trip, and choosing Captain David Rooney was the best decision! We were told it was a slow day, but for two guys who had never fished the Bay—or much saltwater at all—it felt incredible. David was extremely helpful getting us set up and in the water, and our half-day trip stretched well beyond five hours as he worked hard to help us reach our daily limit. That dedication says a lot about the effort he puts in. I highly recommend David’s charter, especially for those who prefer a smaller, more comfortable group. His boat maxes out at six people, making for a much more personal experience than the crowded larger boats.
