Perfect day on the river! Jim is an incredible guide: friendly, patient, knowledgeable, and really creates an enjoyable experience for all skill levels. This was my favorite style of fishing: zipping around the river casting and reeling in spinners all day (with some of Jim’s homemade bait). This time of year we literally saw hundreds of huge salmon jumping all up and down the river consistently all day. We caught our limit of silvers (2 each) and Jim expertly cleaned and filleted our catches right on the boat at the end of the trip. Overall spent about 6-7hrs on the water and it was truly a blast from beginning to end. I cannot recommend Jim enough as a fishing guide!

This trip was a ton of fun and I got my limit!! Captain Jim is a great teacher and he knew how to put us on the fish. We caught quite a few small ones and landed a few HUGE (to me) fish. The steelhead up here fight harder than what I’m used to and it was totally exhilarating! The boat is very spacious & there are several nice features on it. I enjoyed catching fish & learning. The captain is also pretty cool. I highly recommend this guide service.

Me and my two buddies booked Jim for a Winter steelhead trip and let me tell you we had an awesome day on the water. Catching fish was only second to the quality of hospitality and kindness Jim showed us and really taught us alot about steelhead fishing. I don't think I have any reason to book anyone other than this man and I hope to fish with him plenty more.

Jim is a fantastic guide! Jim was excellent company for our trip, from offering step-by-step directions on how to cast to teaching us about his rigs and keeping us interested for the entire 8 hours. Despite the fact that we returned home empty-handed (the Steelhead were being tough haha), we are anxious to arrange another trip with Jim to try for Steelhead again! Thank you, Jim; we look forward to our next adventure!
