ClearVision Charters is a family-friendly, no experience required charter company providing anglers the enjoyment of high speed, run and gun fishing for a variety of Louisiana inshore and nearshore species. Our waters are teaming with fish and conditions often favor specific species, so we work hard to achieve multiple-species slams. Captain Rick Thompson is a United States Marine Corps Veteran who’s proud to call New Orleans home. Growing up, he spent countless hours learning, fishing and hunting the bayous of Venice, LA. While he's logged a lion’s share of fish, his most fond memories are the smell of salt in the air, having alligators destroy popping corks and swimming with porpoises in the distance. He named his company “ClearVision Charters” because his foremost desire is to allow patrons to see the bayou through the same eyes that caused him to fall in love with Louisiana’s waterways as a 10 year old child.

Captain Rick is 100% committed to providing the best possible experience for his guests every time he hits the water.
