Explore the lake by drifting in a 14-foot airboat, paddling leisurely either downriver or across it. Whether you go by boat or wade, Firl Outfitters Fly Fishing Adventures will provide a variety of challenges for experienced and even novice fly anglers. The boat can comfortably accommodate up to two people, so bring a friend or loved one on your next fishing trip!
The challenging nature of certain species in these waters will require help from an experienced captain. When fishing for Bass, Brown Trout, Brook Trout, and Steelhead on a conventional rod-and-reel setup are hard enough—the fly fisherman must be prepared to fight an intense battle if they want that fish. Because of their hardiness and deliciousness, these fish are a prize for anglers everywhere. Go catch one!
You will be provided with everything you need for a productive day, including sandwiches, snacks, water, and soft drinks. Captain Johnny welcomes you to explore the amazing freshwater lakes of Wisconsin!

My wife and I highly recommend Firl Outfitters. While we have fly fished in the past, Johnny really helped improve our technique. He took us on the little wolf river in an area we have never been before and it was a beautiful ride. His boat was very comfortable even for a larger person like myself. In Wisconsin this year we have had a lot of rain and today the river was high(probably like 18 to 24 inches) for this time of year. The worse part was the water looked like chocolate milk. Despite that we caught a couple of small mouth bass, a rock bass and I had a northern on but he snapped the line. The area was beautiful we saw a huge bald eagle along with other wild life. We had some great laughs and some new stories to tell. This is something we will do again and highly recommend Firl Outfitters.

Our Guide, John Buser, was nothing short of outstanding! We’ve never Fly Fished in our lives. He was patient, and professional and taught us very well. We caught 6 Small Mouth Bass. Whatta buzz! Beautiful river and amazing wildlife. Very relaxing and wonderful. Highly recommend.

An excellent afternoon of fly fishing on a stunning section of the Little Wolf River was provided by Firl Outfitters and John Buser. My 14-year-old was interested in fly fishing, so I requested John to pique her curiosity. This probably isn't your first choice if you're searching for fancy. However, Firl Outfitters is a terrific option if you want to step up your game with a charming, gifted instructor who knows where the fish are and how to land them. We intend to return!
