Ratings & Reviews Summary in Seattle

AI ReviewAI Generated Review Summary

Fishing in Seattle, Washington offers diverse opportunities from offshore Pacific waters near LaPush to pristine rivers like the Stehekin. Anglers target salmon, rockfish, lingcod, and halibut on offshore trips that venture 20-30 miles out, while fly fishing enthusiasts work mountain rivers for trout. Both saltwater charters and freshwater adventures provide access to productive fishing grounds across Puget Sound and Washington's river systems. Guides consistently deliver high success rates with families often hitting limits within 1-2 hours on salmon trips. The fishing community emphasizes family-friendly experiences, with captains showing patience teaching beginners and children proper techniques. Professional service includes quality equipment, safety briefings, and full-service support from baiting hooks to filleting catches dockside.

It was my first time in Seattle, and I wanted to catch salmon—Chris made it happen! We had a gorgeous day and experienced an incredible catch-and-release with wild salmon. Chris is not only extremely knowledgeable but also prioritizes safety and follows regulations to the letter. On top of that, he’s kind, funny, and makes the whole trip a blast. A day on the water with him is truly unbeatable. I’ll definitely be booking again soon for more salmon adventures. The area and the salmon lifecycle are fascinating—an absolute must for anyone who loves fishing!

Justin is an exceptional captain—he consistently knew exactly where to find the fish and guided us to all the hot spots. His sense of humor and vast fishing expertise kept things fun and educational throughout the trip. He communicated seamlessly with other captains to position us perfectly on the water, and stayed busy making sure our hooks were always baited. He kicked the day off by thoroughly going over safety, which set a great tone. We had an unforgettable time with Justin and will absolutely book him again—if he's available! Our last catch of the day was a young King salmon—it was out of season and undersized, so he quickly removed the hook, let us snap a photo, and released it. It was an overall amazing experience, and we can’t thank Justin enough for helping us create such wonderful memories!

Had a fantastic trip with Capt Lamont! Brought the whole family (kids are 6 and 9) and it was a truly a memorable experience. Caught our limit (30 big fish!) because Captain Lamont put us right on the spot. He was great with the kids even with them having a bit of sea sickness. Saw whales, dolphins, and sea lions for an added bonus! Highly recommend!

I had a very negative personal experience with the owner of this business. Outside of any business transaction, they contacted me via social media and behaved in an aggressive and threatening way — including sending messages that I found hostile and inappropriate. I’ve attached screenshots for transparency and to document the tone and nature of the messages I received. Based on this behavior, I no longer feel safe supporting or recommending this business to others.
