Low-powered electric trolling motors are permitted, but only fishing with a rod or pole is allowed.

2. Beaver Lake

Beaver Lake is another popular neighboring fishing spot, and it's a great place to take children. The greatest areas to fish are from the floating docks and along the shoreline, but the Prairie Creek Recreation area also has picnic tables and space to unwind after a long day of fishing. Those who are fortunate enough to own a boat will find this lake heavenly. Beaver Lake is particularly a great place to go trout fishing if the anglers have a boat. The landscape and opportunities of Beaver Lake are hard to surpass, whether you're fly fishing or spinning. 3. War Eagle Mill and War Eagle Creek

War Eagle Mill, a fishing location as adventurous as it is beautiful, is only forty minutes away. War Eagle Creek, which has a bridge and a modest waterfall, is a great place to go fishing. It is located near the historic War Eagle Mill, erected in the 1800s for residents in the area. You'll undoubtedly run into a few other friendly anglers, just like at Beaver Dam, but plenty of fish go around. 4. Beaver Dam on the White River

Along its length, the White River is an excellent area to capture trout, and there are various options for wading and fly fishing. Kayakers flock to the river as well. Several dams can be found across the state of Arkansas. Fishing below the dam at several of these spots is guaranteed to be a successful fishing trip. 

5. Lake Atlanta

Lake Atlanta is an excellent place to fish if the angler looks for a few different species. In recent years, the lake has been undergoing some construction, giving the fish plenty of opportunity to reproduce and expand in numbers without any fishing activity. Lake Atlanta is now a fantastic site to fish for a variety of species, including trout, bass, bluegill, and catfish.

6. Lake Sequoya

Lake Sequoya covers over 160 acres just upstream of the Beaver Lake mentioned. The best places to fish on the lake are off the boat dock and from Lake Sequoya Park. The water here can be quite murky, but the fishing here is still described as fair, with bream, crappie, and black bass being the most common species here. Catfish are also present but are less common.

Craft beers and spirits are becoming increasingly popular across the United States. On Saturday afternoons, Core Brewing and Distilling Company tours, which is part brewery, part bar, and part tasting room, are available.
