Offshore fishing out of New Smyrna Beach has been red hot lately, with a wide mix of species keeping anglers busy and smiling. Whether trolling, bottom fishing, or sight-casting, the bite has been consistent across the board. King mackerel are the headliners right now, especially along the 10–20 mile range. They’ve been striking fast-moving baits and spoons, with plenty of double hook-ups when the schools move through. Mahi-mahi are also showing up along weedlines and temperature breaks—trolling rigged ballyhoo or squid chains is your best bet for hooking into a few. Blackfin tuna have been spotted offshore as well, often mixing in with the kings and mahi. Bottom fishing is strong, especially over ledges and reef structures in 70–120 feet of water. Anglers are pulling up solid vermilion snapper, triggerfish, and a few keeper grouper. The red snapper bite has been excellent, although keep an eye on the current regulations. Live bait and cut squid are both working well for bottom dwellers, and cobia have been spotted cruising the surface and hanging near structure. Weather windows have been favorable, with calm seas and warm temperatures making for ideal conditions. Now’s a great time to book a trip and head offshore—New Smyrna Beach is delivering the kind of consistent action that makes every trip worth it.
Offshore fishing out of New Smyrna Beach has been solid this week, with a variety of species keeping rods bent and coolers full. Anglers heading 15–30 miles out are finding steady action on the reefs and ledges, especially around the 70–100 foot range. King mackerel are showing up in good numbers and have been hammering live baits on the troll. If you're running planers or downriggers, expect multiple hookups throughout the day. Mahi-mahi are also making appearances, particularly around weedlines and floating debris—trolling ballyhoo has been a consistent producer. A few sailfish have even surprised lucky crews. Bottom fishing has been productive too. Triggerfish, vermilion snapper, and amberjack are biting well over structure. Live pinfish and squid are working great, and the red snapper bite is hot—though remember, regulations still apply depending on the season. Cobia have also been cruising the reefs and following rays, so keep a pitch rod ready. The weather has been cooperative with light winds and clean water pushing in, making now a great time to get offshore. Whether you’re trolling or dropping deep, New Smyrna Beach is delivering the kind of action offshore anglers look forward to.

Captain Jordan has been very dedicated to satisfy our needs. He took care about equipment and proper conditions to be able to catch fishes by all of us. Nice atmosphere. Good music in background. I must admit that Captain has been working all the time checking everything and preparing fishing rods for us. And at the end he also has cleaned our fishes, so we hope to have a very tasty dinner tonight. Captain Jordan has called me just after finishing reservation to start contact with us and he answered all my questions. It was my first such fishing in Florida. You can feel safe and under good care. I appreciate his hard work and patience to help us catching fishes. The boat is nice and clean. You can hide in shade. Thank you very much Captain Jordan 🙂

We finally got our weather window! Capt. Jordan and Capt. Eric had us hooked up before we even had a full spread out! It was pretty much non stop action all day with multiple species. We had an absolute blast! Great knowledgeable guys, dry, comfortable , capable boat, and we were on the fish! The Captains explained everything very well and were also about conservation and keeping our fishing grounds alive for the future. We’re already planning our next trip! Very satisfied customers!
