Captain Sal is a great captain with over 35 years of fishing experience and a lot of happy returning customers. A lifelong angler, Montauk's always been a place he's loved and enjoyed. Captain Sal has made a living out of showing experienced anglers and beginners alike his secret fishing spots and all the beauty that Montauk has to offer.

Whether you want to target the legendary striped bass that call Montauk home, tasty bottomfish like fluke and black sea bass, or you want to tangle with larger gamefish like tuna or even sharks, Moondance Charters has the know-how and the experience to put you on fish. Captain Sal always knows what fish are biting and will work with you to make sure you have a successful outing catching what's biting.

Moondance Charters runs a roomy and reliable 35’ Bruno downeast. Fully equipped with all the USCG approved safety equipment and top notch navigational equipment, you're sure to have a comfortable and safe ride to the fish. Onboard you'll find a life raft, life jackets, 2 EPIRBs, and a CPR-trained crew.

Moondance Charters supplies all fishing equipment, live bait, a cooler onboard for your drinks, ice for your catch, and high quality photos for free! They'll also clean and fillet your delicious catch for you to take home.
