Captain Heath Miller is the passionate captain of the Muncy Creek Outfitters. He has been fishing ever since and he is an expert in the area. He has a Pennsylvania state license and insurance, as well as CPR and first aid certification. The captain is patient and informative on all of his trips with his past fishing clients. You will surely be educated about the fish and the area while having fun wading in the river! He will ensure that you will be locating the productive spots of the river and put you on different fish species such as smallmouth bass, rainbow trout, aurora trout, and bluegill.
You will be riding in a 14' Flycraft guide pro raft that can accommodate up to 3 people with a 1200 lb capacity. It has front and back casting braces. You may also prefer to ride in the latest 2021 18’ Crestliner fx189 that can accommodate larger groups. Large ford transit vans are provided for big groups with 12 passengers for group outings. Bachelor parties for up to eight individuals are available. Accommodations are also available; please inquire directly to the guide regarding these special trips.
All anglers of skill levels are welcome to come! Families with kids are cordially invited. Whether you are a beginner or an expert, Captain Heath may teach you new techniques to catch the quickest fish around. Common techniques that he will be using are fly or conventional tackle. He will be providing everything including rods, reels, and tackles with lures and baits. All you need to bring is your food and drinks of choice. Wear appropriate clothing and sun protection so you can be mobile as much as possible.

He was professional, knowledgeable, and very patient with the kids. His passion for sailing was evident and he was able to explain concepts in a way that was easy for even the youngest sailors to understand. He made safety a top priority and provided detailed instructions on how to properly handle the boat and the equipment. I highly recommend Captain Heath Miller for any sailing experience.

He was an incredibly knowledgeable guide and taught me a lot about the techniques and tricks required to catch fish. He also had a great sense of humour which made the excursion even more enjoyable. The boat provided was in great condition, and all safety protocols were followed perfectly. I would highly recommend Captain Heath to anyone looking for an outdoor adventure they won't soon forget.

The boat was extremely comfortable and provided a great fishing experience. The captain was incredibly knowledgeable and made sure I had the opportunity to catch fish. I found the fishing to be quite good, and we came back with a nice haul! I would definitely recommend Captain Heath's boat for a great day out on the water.
