Vermont Fishing Adventures is here to show you the stunning waters of Lake Champlain. With Captain Chris at the helm, you’ll have a knowledgeable and experienced guide. He is a USCG licensed Captain, fully insured and registered with USCG, CPR + First Aid Certified.

Species like Atlantic Salmon, Lake trout and the occasional Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), Brown Trout or a bonus Lake Whitefish will be targeted most trips and will be trolled for using downriggers, dipsy divers and lead core.

If you’re traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard and encouraged! Children must wear life vests the appropriate size will be available on board. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks so that nobod gets cranky on an empty stomach!

You’ll be fishing from a 22’ Crestliner cuddy cabin that holds up to 5 passengers including the captain, exceptions can be made for small children please contact with any questions. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, and all the essentials. Capt. Chris will supply rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is included if required.

Before coming aboard, you’ll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group 15 years old or older at the time of the trip, and supply a copy to the captain. Single day and 3 day licenses are available, this information is available online and can be purchased from the VT fish and wildlife website. Digital copies of fishing licenses ARE acceptable in the state of Vermont. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag but your captain will be able to help you with this. You can’t go wrong when you bring sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Bottled water will be available for you. Alcohol is not allowed.
