Surrounding Argo, Alabama, are nearby lakes such as Tadpole Lake and Weaver Pond, where anglers can catch common fish species such as largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, bluegill, and catfish. Other surrounding small fishing spots are Holcomb Lake, Minith lake, Echo Lake, and Emerald Lake, which are all only a couple of minutes away.

2. Visit the Historical Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church

In the early 1820s, church services were held on the grounds of what is now Liberty Church, according to old newspaper articles. A log structure that was the first construction served as the local church. Before becoming a community church near the end of the 20th century, the church continued to be known as Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church. According to local legend, the current building was built around 1850, and the structure’s architectural style supports that claim.
