Grand Lake is a freshwater lake found within Plaquemines Parish in Louisiana. It’s found approximately 13.6 miles away from the city of Lake Arthur and has an elevation of about 3.7 meters. The lake is large in scale, with a maximum length of 10 miles and a width of 8 miles. It’s so massive that when measured in acres, it reaches about 42,100 in total. It’s found close by a few water bodies, including Umbrella Bay, Betty Lake, Lake Benoit, and Little Catfish Lake. The lake is also close to a few towns, including Hackberry, Lowry, and Moss Lake.
The lake is connected to the Mermentau River, which can be seen flowing through its western extremities.
