Another body of water worth mentioning is the Moores Pond that is quite similar to Crystal Lake but a bit smaller. Perfect for inshore fishing and fly fishing. If you don’t mind driving just a couple of hours southward, you’d find Ischua Creek and Allegheny River, two fishing locations that are popular among local anglers. In the Allegheny River, you can land some more challenging fish including smallmouth bass, walleye, northern pike, and the elusive muskie. As for Ischua Creek, the long and winding body of water supports a healthy stock of trout.
