We went out yesterday with Captain Mark and first mate Joe, and it was an excellent day on the water. I had my three sons with me, and not only did we catch our limit of Walleye, but we also learned so much about fishing, Lake Erie, and even weather patterns. Mark’s knowledge is impressive, and both he and Joe were patient and engaging with the kids. They filleted our catch, took the time to show my sons how to clean the fish, and even suggested a few delicious ways to prepare it—which we tried that evening. The best part was how enjoyable they were to spend the day with; great guys who clearly love what they do. We’ll definitely be back next year—thank you for an unforgettable trip!

This trip truly exceeded our expectations. With almost no prior fishing experience and traveling with children, I wasn’t sure how it would go—but Captain Mohn and Tom made everything easy and enjoyable. They were professional, patient, and knowledgeable, providing all the gear and guidance we needed. In just an hour, we landed 2 Lake Trout and 5 Walleye. When some family members felt seasick from the stronger waves, we decided to head back early, yet the amount we caught in such a short time shows the quality of the trip. I highly recommend this charter and would gladly book again if I return to the area.

It was our first time fishing with my son and two grandchildren, and Captain Mark had us on the fish immediately—he barely had time to get all the poles in the water. We limited out well before the four hours with some beautiful Walleye. I’d recommend this trip to anyone looking for a great day on Lake Erie.

For my son’s 14th birthday, he asked to go on a fishing charter, and Captain Mark made it a day to remember. He knew exactly where to find the fish and what gear to use, making it easy for my son and his friends to reel in multiple catches each. We ended the trip with plenty of Walleye and, most importantly, a very happy birthday boy. Thank you, Captain Mark, for such a great experience!

I made a last-minute decision to book while working in the area, and it turned out to be an incredible experience. Mark is highly knowledgeable about the local fish, had excellent equipment, and put us on a full limit of quality Walleye. Everything about the trip—from his boat to his guidance—was top-notch. I’ll definitely do what I can to come back, even if it means making the 8-hour drive again.
