Joe was an amazing guide. He had multiple poles ready for us so we never had our hook out of the water for very long. He was patient and thorough when explaining things to our 7 year old. Jason's guide service is the best! I've used him twice now and both trips were amazing. He has amazing knowledge of the river and knows where the fish are and was great with the kids. When I came to Alaska in January, I knew the one thing I wanted to do while I was here was go ice fishing. I'm so glad I found Jason's Guide Service! I was a complete beginner, never ice fished, and hadn't fished in years. Jason was great! He showed me how to do everything and use the Vexilar, and soon enough I was reeling in fish after fish! I especially liked the Aqua View camera for seeing the fish come right up to the bait. So neat. I highly recommend Jason's Guide Service and hope to book with him again for fly fishing this summer! Thanks Jason for such a great day of fishing so I could check ice fishing off my Alaskan bucket list!
