Mashpee and Wakeby ponds in themselves are 737-acres of feeding on Mashpee River. Its bottom composition is gravel, while its topography can vary from sand bars, vegetation, and debris. In both ponds, anglers will have the chance to catch fish, including largemouth and smallmouth bass, as well as brown, brook, and rainbow trout. Smaller fish like yellow and white perch also call the ponds home. In some seasons, Atlantic herring make their way into the ponds from the Mashpee River. Ranging depths from 30 to 90 feet, the ponds were made to go bottom fishing.

Santuit pond is just as great a fishing pond as the ones beside it. Santuit is 176-acres in total area and is a comparatively shallow body of water averaging depths of only 6.5 feet while reaching a maximum depth of 11 feet in some areas. Fishing in the pond is almost the same as fishing in Wakeby and Mashpee, with exceptions. Fish like pumpkinseed, chain pickerel, and even American eel can also be found. Santuit is also a viable ice fishing spot during winter, with the pond freezing over thick enough to walk on.
