Routan Creek is a 5-mile long tributary of Butts Creek. It is located in Aetna Springs, Napa County, California. It has a 157m elevation above sea level and is close to various bodies of water, such as the Upper Bohn Lake, McCreary Lake, and Detert Reservoir. 

The river flows through the Stagecoach Canyon before it feeds the Buts Creek. It was one of the water sources in putting out the Hennessey Fire, which took place in August 2020.
